A number of events have been postponed as a result of today's anticipated snowfall:
- United Neighborhood Centers' Elm Street Project is cancelling the façade grant information session scheduled for Saturday, February 9 at 1PM. A session is scheduled for Tuesday, February 12 at 6PM at 425 Alder Street. Those who cannot make it can call Elm Street Manager, Jill Murrin, at 346.6203 ext. 16 to schedule an individual meeting.
- The opening reception for "The Carbondale Project" exhibit, set to take place tonight, now will be held Friday, Feb. 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. according to Gallery Director Sherry Sparks. The free reception will be held at the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce Building, 27 N. Main Street, Carbondale.
- The second Winter in the City Cocktail Party scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 22, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Electric City Trolley Museum, 300 Cliff St. For more information, visit www.scrantontomorrow.org or call 963-1575.

- A snow emergency has been declared for Honesdale Borough for today through tomorrow morning. No vehicles should be parked on designated snow routes and no vehicles should be parked from 2 to 6 a.m. on other routes
