Borough honors football team
DUNMORE - After a football season that ended with Dunmore High School's team playing in the state championship game, borough officials recognized its efforts this week with official proclamations. With a final season record of 14-2 for the 2012 season, Mayor Patrick "Nibs" Loughney and borough councilmen recognized players with the Dunmore football team Monday, along with coaches and other faculty and staff at the school for the athletic achievement. Dunmore ended its season as runner-up in the Class A division.
