Kim Emick, O.T.R./L., of Allied Rehab Hospital, was recently certified in the treatment of lymphedema by Lymphatic Care Specialists in Blacksburg, Va., where she studied anatomy, physiology and the pathophysiology of the lymphatic system, as well as hands-on lab training in the treatment of lymphedema using massage and bandaging portions. She earned her graduate degree from Misericordia University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton. Mrs. Emick lives in Scranton with her husband, Tim, and daughters, Shonna and Madolyn.

Margaret Ace Breznay, D.C.M.S.R.D., is one of the first providers in the area to be listed in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's national list of certified medical examiners. She completed the training program and recently passed the FMCSA's certification test. She is the owner of Be Wise Occupational Health, Avoca, where she specializes in Department of Transportation commercial drivers license physicals and also provides third-party administrative services for both DOT and non-DOT drug testing. Dr. Breznay is an honors graduate of Marywood College where she received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science. She later attended Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic and graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Breznay lives in Pittston Twp. with her husband, Christopher, and two children, Anna Rose and Margaret Lin.

Dr. Lieber is a staff psychologist at the clinic in Binghamton, N.Y. Dr. Lieber earned her doctorate of clinical psychology from Marywood University. She is a graduate of Bishop Hannan High School, earned a Bachelor of Science in political science, magna cum laude with a minor in psychology from the University of Scranton and a Master of Arts in adult clinical psychology from Marywood University. Dr. Lieber is the daughter of Joseph S. and Judith M. Lieber of Scranton.
