Defendants were sentenced or pleaded guilty recently before Wayne County Court President Judge Raymond L. Hamill:
- Donald Lamberton, 36, Waymart, was sentenced to pay all court costs for one count of harassment and ordered to pay a $300 fine.
- Danielle McNamara, 26, Hawley, was sentenced to six months' probation for one count of theft and ordered to pay all court costs, a $100 fine and $599.99 in restitution.
- Jeannie Marie Brooks, 37, Prompton, pleaded guilty to one count of theft and one count of forgery. She is scheduled to be sentenced April 11.
- Thomas Richard Rankin, 38, Hawley, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of marijuana not for sale, He is scheduled to be sentenced April 18.
- Lillian Weeden, 46, Berlin Twp., pleaded guilty to one count of forgery, She is scheduled to be sentenced April 11.
- Kevin Swensen, aka Kevin Swendsen, 29, Honesdale, pleaded guilty to one count of DUI or controlled substance, and driving with a suspended license. He is scheduled to be sentenced April 11.
- Verlene Ketcham, 40, Wilkes-Barre, pleaded guilty to two counts of writing bad checks and one count of disorderly conduct. She is scheduled to be sentenced April 18.
