Bridge shoulder, lane to be closed
SCRANTON - The right lane and shoulder on the Harrison Avenue Bridge will be closed intermittently from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Jan. 28 for installation of drilling equipment, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The equipment will be used for core boring near the retaining wall and is part of the Harrison Avenue Bridge replacement project, which is expected to begin in 2014 and be completed in early 2015.
