County detectives arrested two men selling crack in South Scranton and later discovered that one had a bag of drugs hidden in his anal cavity, police said.
Police arrested Joshua Torres, 22, 915 Crown Ave., Scranton, and Frank Mason, 41, 119 Bellman St. in Throop, during a traffic stop after they sold three plastic bags of crack to a confidential informant on Birch Street on Friday afternoon, police said.
Both men had two cellphones each and cash, while a search of Mr. Torres later at the Lackawanna County district attorney's office revealed a plastic bag containing 11 grams of crack, police said.
Mr. Mason was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Mr. Torres was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Arraignment and bail information for both men were unavailable Friday night.
