Archbald fire displaces four
ARCHBALD - Two adults and two children were displaced after a fire Saturday afternoon at 156 Cemetery St.
The fire, which was reported at about 12:15 p.m., started in the first-floor laundry room and caused extensive damage to the kitchen and the rest of the first floor, Archbald Fire Chief Bob Harvey said.
An electrical problem with the dryer likely caused the fire, he said. No injuries were reported.
The residents of the home will be staying with family members, Chief Harvey said.
