WILKES-BARRE - City police are trying to find out what happened to send a man to the hospital with a gunshot wound Sunday night.
Police and ambulances were dispatched to 390 S. Grant St., an apartment building, around 7:20 p.m. A man in his 20s had been shot in the neck, Wilkes-Barre police Lt. Steve Olshefski said. The injury is not life-threatening.
Lt. Olshefski said the man was transported to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Twp. The man was able to talk, Lt. Olshefski said.
Wilkes-Barre detectives are investigating the incident.
