OLD FORGE - No additional negotiations have been planned between the Old Forge School Board and the district's teachers union, according to Superintendent R. Scott Jeffery.
The board presented its "last, best offer" at a meeting Wednesday. Teachers were not in classrooms Thursday or Friday, and there was no progress over the weekend.
There is disagreement whether the teachers are locked out or on strike.
Mr. Jeffery said "nothing further has been scheduled as of yet."
According to the district website, classes are next scheduled on Wednesday, Jan. 2, after a winter break.
It had been previously reported that picketing will resume at that point if teachers remain locked out or on strike.
