SCRANTON — Nearly 3,700 homes were without electricity this afternoon, according to PPL Electric Utilities.
PPL Spokesman Paul Canevari said 3,663 outages have been reported in Taylor, beginning at 3:10 p.m. and crews have been working to correct the problem.
“At this time, there is no cause and no restoration time,” he added.
According to an online map at PPL’s website, 2,402 customers in Scranton and Taylor were still without power just before 6 p.m. today.
