ARCHBALD - Julian Williams was not to be outdone.

Unfamiliar with the words, the 2-year-old showcased his best dance moves while carolers sang "Jingle Bells" on Sunday.

"He thinks he is a great dancer," said his mother, Heidi Williams, laughing. "He likes showing them off - especially in front of a big crowd."

Dozens of people sang, many danced and others waited for Santa to come riding down Salem Road at the third annual Christmas at High School Plaza.

Organized by borough council, the event featured a two-block, horse-drawn sleigh ride, as well as hot chocolate and hot dogs.

"The atmosphere here is always great; that is why we continue to host it," Councilman Randy Grandinetti said. "Plus, it is always nice to hear the carolers."

Led by Christ the King Parish Choir, about 20 carolers squeezed into a gazebo and sang holiday tunes, capping their performance with a rendition of "O Come, All Ye Faithful."

"I look forward to this every year because it is an opportunity for the whole family to gather together," said Austin Burke, who watched his three grandchildren wait for Santa Claus. "It is a blessing to be with everyone at this time of year.
