Keystone gets $10G NEA grant
LA PLUME - A $10,000 Challenge America grant from the National Endowment for the Arts was recently awarded to Keystone College.
The grant is in support of its Keystone Iron Works Program, which brings students from area high schools to the campus each June for iron pour workshops at the Keystone art studios. Afterward, the students pour molten iron into the molds they created during the Arts on Fire Festival at the Scranton Iron Furnaces.
Keystone College was one of 153 nonprofit organizations in the country to receive a total of $1.53 million in grants.
