DICKSON CITY - Borough and Archbald police arrested a woman they say was on her way to sell a quarter-pound of marijuana Tuesday.
Officers stopped a tan Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Kelly McLaughlin, 31, in the driveway of Uno Chicago Grill on Commerce Boulevard at about 10 p.m., according to a criminal complaint.
Ms. McLaughlin was on her way to sell a quarter pound of marijuana for $1,400 in a deal that was actually arranged by investigators, according to the complaint. She was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains in the Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 13.
