MEHOOPANY TWP. — A Red Cross team is providing two residents with food, clothing and shelter after a structure fire destroyed their Wyoming County home Saturday afternoon.
Along with the Mehoopany Twp. Fire Department, a Red Cross team responded to a structure fire around 12:30 p.m. Saturday at a home off Route 87, Wyoming County dispatchers said.
The Red Cross is offering the residents temporary housing, as well as meal tickets and gift cards to department stores, where they can buy new clothing, Executive Director Carmon Flynn said.
Efforts to reach the Mehopany Twp. Fire Department were unsuccessful.
