DUNMORE - An ambulance responding to a call on the O'Neill Highway was involved in a four-car crash at Dunmore Corners that sent a 2-year-old baby and its mother to the hospital.
A Lackawanna Ambulance was traveling North on South Blakely Street at about 7:30 p.m. when it collided with a vehicle turning onto Drinker Street, causing a chain reaction, hitting two additional vehicles, borough Police Chief Patrick Reese said.
The woman driving the first vehicle and her 2-year-old, along with the driver of the ambulance, were all transported to Geisinger Community Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Chief Reese said.
